When I began therapy, I was unsure of where my life was going. My therapist helped me find my way and provided the ‘push’ to help me meet my goals. The transformation that took place in me and my life has been wonderful.

The Change Process

Using a person-centered approach, we apply cognitive therapy to identify your faulty thinking and negative core beliefs. These contribute to negative emotions, low self-esteem, and feelings of unworthiness. Since your thoughts influence your emotions, and your emotions affect your behaviors, you'll learn to recognize this pattern. When you do, your life can change significantly. You'll learn to choose your behaviors instead of simply reacting to situations as they happen.

Our therapists also use psychodynamic therapy to explore the origins of emotional problems. In psychodynamic psychotherapy, we examine past trauma and life experiences to discover how they impact you today. Together, we will work to resolve depression, anxiety, and other mental health problems.

On Marriage Counseling and Couples Therapy - “Rebuilding your marriage requires a commitment to repairing a broken friendship and learning to listen to your partner. Are you ready to commit to working with your therapist to fix your relationship?”

On Building Self-Worth - “When your sense of self-worth is dependent on things outside of yourself, such as financial success, your sense of self becomes unstable. This is called co-dependence and can be resolved in therapy.”
